Even the best parties come to an end, and Dec 20th will be ours here at Goose & Gander. After nearly 14 unforgettable years, we’ve made the incredibly hard decision that it’s time to close our doors. We are beyond grateful to our Napa Valley community and to all our loyal guests over the years for embracing us with open arms. Your love and support was amazing and we felt it. Our hearts are filled with appreciation for our dedicated and professional G&G staff who have worked hard to bring this building to life each day, creating unforgettable experiences for our guests. Since 2012, we have been honored to be known as the local favorite, the hidden gem basement bar and the go-to spot for the best burger and cocktail in town. It’s been such a privilege to be part of so many special memories from proposals to first dates, New Year’s Eve celebrations, anniversaries, countless birthdays, homecoming, St Patrick’s Day, Summer Sundays, family dinners or, just a regular Tuesday night in the bar for a Walter’s Manhattan & duck fat fries. Many, many good times were had here and we’ll cherish them all.

Our Menu

At Goose & Gander, Executive Chef Ignacio Beltran creates amazing rustic American food and mouthwatering bar bites all served in our pub-like dining room, cherished basement bar or lush garden. Our farm in downtown Napa provides most of the produce for our seasonally-driven menu, which complements Scott Beattie’s retro-fresh libations or a bottle of wine from our unique and award-winning wine list.
